"Dolce" is a work a quiet reflection, watching the waves by the shore, mesmerized....every now and then the undulating movements move towards a climax only to pull back again. The piano is the "GrPianoDolce" from the Casio PX-560M, combined with Native Instruments UnaCorda for the creaks and other noises. © 2020 Roger Hooper Music
My first piece composed for Piano Day 2020 had some string elements; I wanted to do one that was just the piano. The piano in this composition is the 1911 Bechstein piano from @arpquadra (Andrew Ward); lovely piano!

"Distance" is my creation for #pianoday2020. The photo in the art work is by Gemma Evans on Unsplash. The piano is Noire, from Native Instruments, with a wash of strings in places from Spitfire Audio Olafur Arnalds Chamber Evolutions.
A reflection of our time "social distancing", living in isolation because of the coronavirus pandemic. The piano is from the Casio PX-560M stage piano. I edited the tone to give it a more "muted" sound. © 2019 Roger Hooper Music
This is a quiet pause for reflection and memories. The art work is by my father, Ralph M. Hooper Sr. (1919-1977).
This track celebrates Valentines Day, and my marriage to my best friend! The piano is the Originals - Felt Piano from Spitfire Audio, and the strings are from Spitfire as well. ©2020 Roger Hooper Music

"Glimmer" was composed using only sounds from the #CasioMusicGear PX-560M Stage Piano. The 560 has a hex layer synthesizer; up to 6 oscillators with their own envelopes and filters, capable of creating exotic and lush soundscapes. ©2020 Roger Hooper Music

I composed this track using the piano and a low-end synthesizer sound from the #CasioMusicGear PX-560M. The strings are from Spitfire Audio's Olafur Arnalds Chamber Evolutions. ©2020 Roger Hooper Music
This was recorded using the Casio PX-560M stage piano.
I sat down at a Casio PX-S3000 stage piano, popped in a USB thumb drive and began to improvise. I changed my mind midstream....hence the title, "Confluence". This is also an experiment with the new Steinberg Multi tap Delay in Steinberg Cubase 10.5, and Waves H-Delay. Pic used in the art work by Rebecca Hooper © 2020 Roger Hooper Music
Natalie's Candles is a reflection on this past Christmas Season, and looking forward to 2020. It is inspired by the art work, which was painted by my granddaughter Natalie. ©2019 Roger Hooper Music
This is a piano improvisation captured with the Casio PX-560M; I added the synthesizer part the following day to add mystery. All sounds are from the #casiomusicgear #px560m ©2019 Roger Hooper Music
This is my newest arrangement of the classic Christmas Carol "O Come O Come Emmanuel". This time around I used the Noire piano from #NativeInstruments, strings from Spitfire Audio and Embertone (their beautiful Joshual Bell Violin library), and a voice from 8 Dio. The art work is by one of my granddaughters (PopPop's Little Princess!) Merry Christmas, everyone! © 2019 arrangement/recording/Roger Hooper Music

Composed for the Piano Soundboard group on Facebook "One Handed Challenge". I chose the left hand. The piano is the lovely C. Bechstein sample from Andrew Ward on pianobook.co.uk. © 2019 Roger Hooper Music
