"The Year of the Wolf", the direct and harmonious successor of "The Memory of a Warm Embrace", took more than three months and almost 40GB of audio recordings to get done. It's warm, a bit obscure, wildly experimental and hiding an unexpected gentle nature. It channels both my confidence and my insecurities, and I really hope that you'll get caught in its narrative. The sound of this record is also unique. Most of it has been recorded on a thirty-year-old tape, the rest using cassettes and a small, portable reel-to-reel tape deck. It took a tremendous effort but the result is something I'm very proud of. F. credits released October 19, 2017 Written, orchestrated, conducted, mixed and mastered by Francesco Berta between August and October 2017. ▒ Flute and Alto Flute: Luke Howells ▒ Bassoons: Adam Ford, Mike Summers ▒ Upright Piano, Synth Programming: Francesco Berta ▒ Violins: Liam Raw, Robert Varley ▒ Viola: Anne Narayan ▒ Cello: Aríanna Hönnudóttir
