I need you now more than I ever knew I could I'm fading out, Come rescue me, I would be stronger if I could Right now, all I need is you. All I need is you... Thoughts passed through to heal my wounds that still remain And as the pieces of my heart Scatter in the nothing I wash away I miss my only chance to say goodbye, Words never sound profound. I need you now more than I ever knew I could I'm fading out, Come rescue me, I would be stronger if I could, right now, all I need is you. I never should have let you go I'd follow all your footsteps, I would walk around the world if I could hold you here in my arms, My love, nothing else will do cause all I need is you I need you now more than I ever knew I could I'm fading out, Come rescue me, I would be stronger if I could, right now, all I need is you. All I need is you All I need is you All I need is you All I need is you
lyrics: we've all been down this road before we've all walked here alone what for if you're on this path somebody will be too so take their hand walk each other through let's not leave each other alone anymore how about we try it all again even though the world may be pushing us back try it all again don't give up how about we help each other out 'cause god knows how much we've all been thrown down help each other out get back up don't give up

Do you see all these sparkling lights? Can’t tell if it’s day or night Filled to the brim with breathtaking sights Let’s go explore around! [Post-verse] Walking past all the fancy dressed up passerbys I pick up my pace Straight down this road an adventure awaits Beyond these starlit gates [Chorus] Laughing along in the summer heat Voices carried away by the breeze Come on, let’s go look around for something sweet Gather ‘round and bring all of your friends Hoping for this night to never end Take my hand, promise you’ll never let go Laughing along in the summer heat Dancing until our feet fall asleep Sweet raspberry colour melts into your cheeks Gather ‘round and bring all of your friends Myriad colours twirling in your head Run with me and race the rising sun [Bridge] Sparkling flowers bloom Underneath the moon Burning in the sky in the loveliest of hues Clouds like candy floss Softly swim across The crowd cheers and applauds Ah~ Everything just looks so surreal How can I be sure this isn’t a dream? Just in case, don’t wake me up Just a minute’s enough Make this magic last until every single spark is gone [Chorus] Laughing along in the summer heat Voices carried away by the breeze Taking a hold of your hand… Making wishes upon shooting stars Talking all night long With you, I won’t ever feel alone Laughing along in the summer heat Dancing until our feet fall asleep Sweet raspberry colour melts into your cheeks See you, let’s meet again! (I’m) Happy that you came And just like that our silhouettes blurred and faded away ~______________________________________~ STEMS : https://drive.google.com/open?id=1q1eZxoGMe9tNmMZ68ibafuxm3dlbhU90 ~______________________________________~
Growing in difficult places Going through many different phases And seeing many different kinds of faces Being stronger than the rest And trying to hold myself together, at best Don’t worry about a thing Let it all go, there’s room to grow Sunflowers grow, and lillies do too, Flowers are made to bloom, like me and you Everything beautiful starts as a struggle, don’t forget who you are in all of the troubles Staying true to yourself Is important to everyone else But i know what it’s like to feel lost Trying to fit in with the crowds Always being ripped out of the grounds Don’t focus too much on the downpours, Every flower needs rain to grow more Sunflowers grow, and lillies do too, Flowers are made to bloom, like me and you Everything beautiful starts as a struggle, don’t forget who you are in all of the troubles Sunflowers grow, and lillies do too, flowers are meant to bloom, like me and you Everything beautiful starts as a struggle, Don’t lose yourself in all of your troubles
“Pretty Head” is about the anxiety, depression, and self-doubt many of us feel. Both Bella and I have struggled with this over the past couple years and thought it was important to write about. plz dont forget me cover of the smashing pumpkins' "disarm" sorry if its sloppy, i was rly drunk wen i made this, guitars by me as well lyrics: Disarm you with a smile And cut you like you want me to Cut that little child Inside of me and such a part of you Ooh, the years burn Ooh, the years burn I used to be a little boy So old in my shoes And what I choose is my choice What's a boy supposed to do? The killer in me is the killer in you My love I send this smile over to you Disarm you with a smile And leave you like they left me here To wither in denial The bitterness of one who's left alone Ooh, the years burn Ooh, the years burn, burn, burn I used to be a little boy So old in my shoes And what I choose is my voice What's a boy supposed to do? The killer in me is the killer in you My love I send this smile over to you The killer in me is the killer in you Send this smile over to you The killer in me is the killer in you Send this smile over to you The killer in me is the killer in you Send this smile over to you

PETE DELLO AND FRIENDS "Do I Still Figure In Your Life?" Into Your Ears (1971) Got Kinda Lost / Burger Cassette (2018) CS on Burger Records: http://burgerrecords.11spot.com/pete-dello-and-friends-into-your-ears.html LP/CS on Got Kinda Lost Records: https://www.gotkindalost.com/artist/pete-dello Originally issued in 1971 by Nepentha Records—presided over by Kinks/Troggs manager Larry Page—Into Your Ears is the sole full-length offering from Honeybus founder member Pete Dello (assisted by a coterie of close friends). The album is a wonderful, timeless work of incisive, plaintive folk-pop balladry and buoyant, idiosyncratic creations, led along by Dello’s honeyed voice (which eases effortlessly into falsetto) and expertly executed arrangements featuring minor orchestrations. Into Your Ears represents the zenith of Dello’s songwriting, comprised of primarily tunes written specifically for this project (supplemented by a few tracks intended for Honeybus which were re-cut for the occasion). The songwriting reflects a jovial playfulness, but also feelings of intense lovelorn longing, hope, wistfulness and moments that could serve as a great soundtrack to a break-up (with the brightness of delivery never making them ache with depression). Everything on Into Your Ears comes from personal life experiences, even if twisted through a unique prism, with the deep emotions, whimsical moments and orchestration that never clutters the arrangements all achieving perfect balance. But, above all, the songs resonate with a pure dedication to “pop” and beckon you to listen in repetition, until they’re at one with your very existence. There’s something present, timeless and at times nearly indescribable about this very special set of songs that can’t be pinpointed by simple equation. Widely regarded by Honeybus fans, ‘60s-‘70s collectors and anyone who’s happened into its beatific orbit, Into Your Ears is a lost classic deserving of further exposure. RIYL: Ray Brooks, Duncan Browne, John Cale’s Paris 1919, Ray Davies (The Kinks), Bill Fay, Nick Garrie, the early careers of Ralph McTell and Clifford T. Ward, etc.

art by logan thoren lyrics i never got to see you be you that night i wanna know what songs you listen to when you’re feeling blue, is that alright? and sure yeah i know there’s no need to open the box to our past baby but i’m still mourning over the loss of a relationship that we never even had in reality you prolly don’t even have the time or desire to sit and think and wonder bout me and all my fire but i wonder if you ever told your friends how we was feelin and what you said and how you got into my head and how i slowed your breathin i keep writing the same exact song, is that God telling me to deal? ‘cause you were one of few who could make me feel real real i guess it’s just my curse that i always wanted us to get closer but i can’t keep doing this and screwing myself over ‘cause you never know what you want let alone what you need i’m not saying it’s me but it gets lonely out there, as you can see you’ve saved me more times than you probably think thanks for that but did you ever feel that helping me was causing you to further sink? and sure yeah i acknowledge that i should’ve been there for myself my God damn self but still you didn’t have to go and store me away up on your highest shelf nowadays you’re just so far away and i’m tryin my best to accept that but a hand hold while words unfold, well, i was kinda learnin to expect that and i wonder if you did ever want more than what was on the surface what we could do wanting me to hold you so together we could flourish maybe if you never saw that part of me then things, things would be better but i guess life moves on, you can’t control the weather and i guess i’m simultaneously too much and not enough so i don’t blame you, i’d leave too, ‘cause things were blue and you deserve so much better ‘cause i’ll never be what you want definitely not what you need ‘cause i guess it’s just me i’m too flawed, is that why we’ll never be?

Lonely Creatures, is a song I decided to write one day when I was sitting alone in a hotel. Something in the air filled my lungs with this pain of humanity. That was a special night. One that can't be described but must be felt to get the full experience. I tried to write a song to describe what I was feeling but I don't think this song does that experience justice. This is a glimpse of what I felt that night in my hotel room. I hope you can experience it with me.
i liked the sound of it so i decided to upload it. thanks to my pal payton for his baritone ukulele that i have been holding hostage. almost everything i write is sad i s2g someone needs to help me hahaha
Long, but worth the read... The Time Has Arrived... The Final Release!!! I chose to wrap up this 12 month musical journey, with a bit of a soulful ballad entitled... "I Wanna Be The Man You Turn To" This is the 14th and Final, original song in this project, Written, Recorded & Produced in Sunset View Studio by myself, in the past 12 months! After much quiet & personal reflection into the "inspiration" for these songs, and going through a year of many emotional ups and downs, this song quite possibly could be my ANTHEM SONG... My hopes are, that every man makes this his own "Anthem Song," for the woman he loves, and also, that every woman has a man that she can ALWAYS turn to! Gentlemen, When you find that One Special Woman, Pull her tight into your arms, Slow dance with her to this song, and whisper in her ear, "I Wanna Be The Man You Turn To.." ALWAYS... Let her know, that she can ALWAYS turn to you! Me personally, I know she's out there and she'll always know she has someone to turn to... Though less complex, this really is one of my favorite originals, both lyrically and musically. If you just listen to the lyrics, you'll understand why......... Thank you to my musical brother Jeff Hoffman, for always indulging me and my music and once again, lending his amazing Bass playing talents on this song, as well as, MANY of the 14 original songs over the past 12 months! I Love You buddy, like my own brother! Also, thank you to another dear friend, Maria Ferrante-Schepis, for her amazing contribution to a few songs with her talented & inspirational flute playing. FINALLY, A HUGE THANK YOU, to Each and Everyone of YOU, MY FAMILY and FRIENDS!!! Your amazing support and appreciation of my music over the years, truly leaves me humbled. I could never possibly repay your kindness. So, I can only hope I can continue to create music that we can ALL somewhat relate to, and possibly make our lives just a little more enjoyable everyday, just by listening to music...... Indeed, it does seem, that all of my life experiences and memories, are all being written into my songs, and what a story they are telling.... And when I'm gone...What a "Soundtrack" of MY LIFE, it will turn out to be!!!"
